H1b stamping with only 3 months I-797 Validity

Dear Friends

Please share your valuable thoughts for my below case study:

1) My I-797 is expiring on Sept 25, 2012 and i am planning to vist india in July mid and i need to go for stamping . Will i face any problems if i go with my current 797 ( 3 months - valid upto Sept 25, 12).

2) or do i need to go for an extention now and get the new 797 (premium processing) and then go for stamping?

My worry is that if i go with current 797 and get into a querry and then got stuck up for 3 months and then my 797 expires and what is my condition at that time.

i am worrying so much as i can see that even the simple 221g administrative query is talking long time to respond.

Request to post the possibilities and outcomes for taking some decision on this .

So sh`d i go with premium processing for H1b or sh`d i stay calm and proceed with my I-797(3 months - valid upto Sept 25, 12).

I got my visa stamping yesterday in ottawa with a visa validity till sep 30, 2012. So, there shouldnt be any problem.

It's your choice but I would have never used the 3 months petition. Rather go for full 3 years. Just go for PP (hardly takes 2 weeks) and go for your interview with new validity
