H1 B transfer (regular) at VSC in April

Hi,

As per my attorney my H1 B transfer docs were sent to USCIS VSC on 19th April and I have still not received the receipt. Cheque is not encashed yet. I thought receipt number should have been received in 2 weeks at the max. Has anyone else faced / facing similar issue?

Generally, the receipt notices are mailed out within 10-15 days of filing the petition with USCIS. Please request the petitioner or attorney of record to follow up with USCIS and find out the status of the case. It is possible the case was rejected, the petition was not yet filed, or it was lost in the mail if the checks have not been cashed after two weeks.
