H1 visa renewal Ottawa EC model

Hi,

I am planning to go to Ottawa for H1 renewal on EC model in May 2012. Had my previous two stampings in India as a fulltime previously without issues. Currently changed company and on EC model. My current client does not issue a client letter as per their policy. How safe is it then to go to Ottawa without client letter? Any suggesstions will be appreciated

90% unsafe. There is a 90% chance they might ask for it. If you don't have it then you are inviting 221g trouble. However eventually when they contact the client you should get through if there is a valid EER.

I would recommend that you carry Client Letter. The 1st question the Cashier asked me was whether i had Client Letter.
