I have my pay stubs and have also been paying taxes in US as well as the country I am in for these years. Does the fact that I have been working remotely have any effect on my visa renewal? Because you are not on H1b visa, you don't even need to get paid if working from outside of USA. This is as per immigration concerns; of course if you work you should get paid. It would not create any problem in H1b filing/ extension. Link to comment
