nikunj1981
I am in US from last 7 years. I had completed my master and worked 5 year for one of the biotech company. I recently got affected due to downsizing by company. So can anyone tell me what are the options after lay off on H1B I have and how much time I have? Can I apply for F1 visa after lay off (non status) and can I apply F1 based on certificate programs? Also do you know the name of consultants who can transfer my h1B? Many thanks................ SameerH1Bworker
There is NO such GRACE period. YOu need to file COS or transfer before last day of job. Otherwise you'll be accumulating out of status days. You can contact my employer MendAlike Link to comment
