Got RFE in April asking for client letter (out of the project that we filed during extension) April-24-2012 replied to RFE with new project(internal) details. May-8-2012: Saw denial online. Still 1.5 years left on my 6year period Please help me what the options left for me. I really need help. Trying to find lawyers opinions also. Please help Thanks Link to comment

wiweq Posted May 10, 2012 Report Share Posted May 10, 2012 In my view, once it’s the denial you have to leave the country at the day you get the denial notice, unless some other visa extension/ COS is in process. Again, attorneys can assist better. Why don’t you try Murhty? Link to comment
livliv Posted May 10, 2012 Report Share Posted May 10, 2012 Change or extension of status is not possible with an expired I-94. You will have to leave the US. An employer can file cap-exempt H1 petition for you while you are abroad and you can return after it is approved. Link to comment
