This will make sure to USCIS that you have arrangements to maintain your legal H1b status. To make it faster ask your employer to do it in PP. Employee can also pay for PP fees ($1,225). Wiweg thanks for the reply ..Do we need to have the renewal also to be approved for the H1b transfer approval . Can i file my transfer even after my I 94 expiry ? Link to comment
wiweq Posted May 10, 2012 Report Share Posted May 10, 2012 If the renewal was initiated before I94 expiry, you can use the renewal receipt for H1b transfer. The renewal need not to be approved. Again, an experienced attorney can assist in better way. Link to comment
