opt to H1 status----please help

hi,

i am on my OPT now (opt expires in june 2013) and my employer has applied h1 which will start from march 2013.my h1 is approved.

i got a new job under different employer. Can i transfer my h1 under him?

i am not sure if i can use this H1 and move to a different job...please help...

Hmm, I doubt that it is approved.

An H1 can be filed up to 6 months before the start date. That means that for a start daye of Marh 2013, the H1 could be filed in Oct. 2012 the earliest.

I suggest you double-check with the employer.

You are correct. It seems like its they are still applying my H1.

My opt will end in June 10 2013 . Can I apply my H1 in 2013 quota.. Can I use cap gap? Is cap gap risky?
