H1 lost job I-140 approved from previous company

Hi,

I am on H1B Visa. I came to US on H1B visa in Aug 2007.

Aug 2007 to Jul 2008 - Worked for Company A

Jul 2008 - Visa transferred to Company B

Sep 2010 - Company B filed PERM

March 2011 - I 140 approved

April 2011 - joined company C and get 3 year extension based on approved I-140 by company B.

May 2012 - lost job from company B today. Company C did not stated GC process yet. So, have I-140 approved from company B.

P.S. My wife is on H1 as well. Our health insurance was from my company (company C) and she is pregnant right now.

What options do I have right now?

I am looking for new job, and I am positive that I will get new job in couple of weeks. My health insurance is active till 05/31/12.

1) Can I wait for couple of weeks that I get new job rather than apply for H4?

2) Can my approved I-140 by company B (the previous company than the most current one) still be used for H1 extensions beyond 6-year H1 limit? My 6 years on H1 is finishing in Aug 2013. My current H1 status was approved until April 2014 due to approved I-140 by company B.

3) If I go on H4 and come back on H1 again, can I still get an extension beyond 6 years for H1 based on approved I-140 from company B and can still pursue the PD of approved I-140?

4) If I get job in Company D and Company D starts my GC process, will I be able to persue approved I-140's PD date, which is Sep 2010?

Please advise me ASAP.
