debashish
Hi, Currently i am staying at hartford, CT. when went to dmv office for driving license they told my i-94 is not verified and asked me to wait. when i asked how long it will take, they told its depends on immigration team for verification and they can't say exact date. once finished they will give me a call. I am really concerned now because I need to have a car asap for which i need Driver license and now this situation puts me in trouble. Could anybody suggest what needs to be done. Do i need to wait for their call or there is any other way i can proceed for a better resolution. Please suggest. Thanks, Debashish Link to comment
livliv
You can try visiting a nearby USCIS office and then visit DMV again. Link to comment
gottaloveimmigration
Debashish, I would ask them to give you a temporary license. In CA, they give everyone a paper license and some cases get sent to the immigration team for processing. However while processing, you can continue to drive with the temp paper license. It was a huge pain for me as my case was stuck for 4 months but I had a temp license which I was able to use, although I had to get that renewed a couple of times. Rutvik Link to comment
