H1-B 3 year extention beyond 6 year limit

Hello Experts!

My current employer is non-profit organization and my 6 years of H1-B expire in Sept. 2014.

I-140 is approved in EB3 category. I'm looking forward to take the risk to find a for-profit employer who can sposor EB2, and make use of the EB3 priority date.

I understand one simply cannot transfer H1-B from a non-profit employer to a for-profit employer. A new H1-B petition has to be filed if you intend to make this sort of change.

But I have this confusion about 3 year extentions beyond 6 year limit:

Do you have to stick with the same employer who filed I-140 to make use of 3 year extention beyond 6 year limit, OR, can one change employer, file new PERM, get I-140 approved and extend H1B beyond 6 year limit?
