L1 To H1 Transfer

Hello All,

I had applied for H1(currently in L1) Nov 2011(Vermont Center) under regular processing. Now I have a client letter(from State B) and would like to convert the case to premium based on this letter. But my employer says that as per my filed I-129, I should work in the same state as mentioned(State A). So now my options are narrowed down to the area mentioned in I-129.

I dont understand this and my employer(as like rest) is not helping me understand this. Can I go ahead and apply premium processing based on my client letter from State B? or Should I only look out for oppurtunities as per I-129(State A). Please reply.

H1b is the employer's entirely property, let them do their job. If you think they are not doing their job properly or doing something beyond law, better to make it sure by contacting attorney and change the employer and don't forget to report them to DOL, ICE. You cannot fix an employer and not supposed to do that, let the enforcement agencies do their job.
