In which country are you planning to attend visa interview?

Here is the process for Appointments in Canada

DS 160:

1. First of all go to https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/default.aspx complete the DS160 accurately (Make sure all the information you enter here is accurate and as per your passport and immigration documents)

2. Once you verify all the information is right, sign and submit it. Right after submission your DS160 'Application ID with Bar code' will be generated. You need to take a printout/copy of this confirmation page, once you exit this page, it cannot be retrieved later.

So make sure you have printed/emailed/screenshot this page.

VISA Appointment (in Canada):

1. Visti https://usvisa-info.com/en-CA/selfservice/login

Create you profile using Passport number, Date and Place of Birth etc

2. select the appropriate Visa category for visa interview fee payment You will be asked to enter the DS160 Application ID for Visa interview Fee payment page.

3. Once you pay the fee your payment confirmation page appears (again make a copy of it, however you'll get an email confirmation), And then you can schedule the appointments in which ever location you plan to attend (in Canada).

You will be asked to choose Embassy location, Loomis location (for passport pickup)
