DS - 160 query

Hi All,

I have a query regarding filling currrent employer in DS-160 form.

I am currently working for company A and another company B gives me an offer. Now I am going for stamping through company B.

So which company will be my current employer in DS-160 form, comapny A or B.

It is not a transfer. I am still working for company A and company B gave me an offer letter and I have to join them in US after stamping. So if I don't get visa then I will still be employee of Company A.

Ofcourse Company A is your Employer.

because Employer B have not initiated the process of filing H1B for you.

Company A is providing you all the documentation for stamping right ?

Did u have your H1B transfered to the new company? You should first do that. or get a new H1B with the new employer if you intend to retain the choice for some more time.

I am filing H1 for the first time. My current company is not filing H1, only company B is filing it.

I will join them in US if visa is approved.

So now, whom to mention in DS-160 form, company A or B

Assumng you are working for company A in your local countlry and not on H1 status, you need to fill out company A details
