Canada First time H1B Stamping question

F1-OPT-H1B

H1B Approved on oct 2011 (EVC Model)

I am Planning to go for stamping in canada, is it ok if i go for stamping in canada for first time h1b stamping ? Please reply me as i need to take a decision asap.

You should be fine, you can go for stamping in Canada. Only thing you need to make sure is to have all the required documents to support your case. Search for threads related to 'first time H1B stamping in Canada' in this forum for more information and suggestions.

(And you cannot go to Mexico for First time H1B stamping as they mentioned explicitly on their embassy website.)

My Friends friend asked the Vancouver consulate VO same question after his interview and VO told yes. So i think you can go to Canada
