But I want visit India before Oct, 2012 due to personal reasons. Is it OK to travel India while my application for H1-B is in process or after it is approved? Please advice and thanks in advance. wiweq Posted May 1, 2012 Report Share Posted May 1, 2012 (I assume this is your first H1b starting from Oct 1st.) Your COS from L1 to H1b is scheduled on Oct 1st. So, there is no problem in travelling and coming back before Oct1st. You can use your L1 visa while coming back before Oct1st. Link to comment
appuks Posted May 7, 2012 Report Share Posted May 7, 2012 hi iam also in the same situation but i also need to get my L1A stamped ,and if i come back on L1A do i need to go back to india again to get my H1 stamped or can do it whenever i go next time? since my H1 may be approved by the tme of travel ,do i have any problem in getting my L1A stamped please advice.
