vk4246 Posted April 30, 2012 Report Share Posted April 30, 2012 Hi , We filed an L1B to H1B Petition with COS on last October 12 2011, USCIS gave an "RFE" on Feb 16th 2012 with Employer-Employee Relationship seeking info. Our Lawyer replied on Mar 23 rd 2012, It's been more than a month and my status was not updated to "RFE Response review" My lawyer is not in US right now and she ll be back on May 15th 2012, I am bit confused whether my "RFE response" has reached USCIS. My Last Date for sending RFE response is May 13 2012, Is there any ways to ensure whether my "RFE" has reached USCIS ? Kindly help me by providing ur inputs. Link to comment
Attorney_22 Posted April 30, 2012 Report Share Posted April 30, 2012 It may be advisable to follow two courses of action: 1) contact USCIS at the 1-800 number and inquire if the response was received; and 2) if the USCIS representative cannot confirm its receipt of the response and must submit a service request to confirm, either ask the attorney’s office to resubmit the RFE response or obtain a copy and submit it yourself. If option two is not possible you should consider discussing the matter directly with a qualified U.S. immigration attorney immediately. Link to comment
veijaz2983 Posted May 17, 2012 Report Share Posted May 17, 2012 Dear All, I have applied H1 in 2011 and RFE can in Dec 2011 and Request for response review since March 2012 Till date the status remains same. Also when i speak with the employer who filled H1 they say that the attorey said that my status us approved but they hav't received any mail from USCIS nor any change in the website on my status.
