H1B Transfer Denied with approved valid OPT extension?

Hi,

I was on H1B since October 2011, I had also applied OPT extension along with H1B last year and got approval before H1B. Now I moved to another company and started working with the new employer as I received the Petition fedex notice not the approval yet. Now if my H1B transfer is denied, am I still eligible to continue working with new employer on my Stem Extension OPT? OR the OPT is no longer valid because H1B overides OPT?

Once your COS was done last Oct 1 from F1 to H1b, you can't use anything related to F1 (cpt, opt, opt exten ect) anymore.

Your F1 status and OPT ended when change of status to H1 was approved.
