Laconic
Hello, I have been a longtime avid reader of this forum. Thank you all for contributing to this ever increasing and incredibly useful knowledge pool. My wife has been working for a desi IT consulting firm since January 2010 (in EVC model) and will soon join a leading food services company as a fulltime employee. The new employer's H1B petition has been approved (don't know yet, but likely with extension of status/I-94) after an RFE for previous year's W-2 and paystubs was fulfilled. She will join the new employer by mid/end of May. She will probably travel to India and will appear for H1B visa interview in Nov/Dec 2012. Which documents do you think she should collect to answer any queries about her (previous) employment with the IT consulting firm? She has been regularly paid a fixed salary and has all paystubs as well as two LCA's for the two changes in her work location. However, she does not have copies of contracts between her employer and respective vendors and end clients. Thanks again. Link to comment
