Needs Clarification with EAD

I'm currently working on a company that sponsored me a H1B Visa valid up to August 2013 this H1B Visa extension is in pursuant that I have an approved I-485 under EB3 and waiting for my priority date. An EAD was issued last January 2010 and expired last January 2012 and this EAD was renewed in accordance with my Mother's petition under F2B category.

On my F2B category position, it was affected by retrogression but during the processing the Lawyer who works on my F2B petition also filed an application for EAD together with the adjustment of status but later on it was retrogress. But in the end I receive the renewal of EAD valid up to January 2014.

My question now is:

1. If i use my EAD wlll my H1B be revoked?

2. Using my EAD should I resign with my current company or can it be counted just like a 2nd or part-time job?
