USCIS case status = Acceptance. Am I close to reaffirmation of my petition?

My h1 visa was rejected under 221g in Jan 2012 and my petition was sent back to USCIS for review and possible revocation.

This week the USCIS case status has been changed to "Acceptance". What does this status mean?

Am I close to reaffirmation of my petition?

no - it just means that uscis got the case from your VO. There are several months left now

i believe, they just received ur petition for review process.....and now they will take some time for the review process....

Acceptance doesn't mean your H-1B is approved or reaffirmed. Its just an indication that USCIS have received your petition and they have started reviewing it.

How are you checking your case status online? When i enter my I-797 receipt no. in the USCIS case status, it only shows my H1 wass approved on march 2011, which is the date it was approved. It doesnt show the latest updates. Is there any place else i have to look?
