8th year extension

Folks,

Here is my status,

I came to US on Sep 2005.

Applied 140 with substituted labor on June 2007

140 Denied after multiple RFEs(My company responded all RFEs) on Aug 2010

New Labor applied with same company on Mar 2011

Labor approved - May 2011

140 filed - June 2011

RFE received - Nov 2011

RFE responded - Dec 2011

Status - pending RFE review

6th year ended on last Sep 2011.

7th year extension filed with my first labor and approved for 1 year till Sep 2012.

Meanwhile last Feb, DOL debarred my company for one year from sponsoring any alien visas due to few violations. So, when my company lawyer inquired the status of 140, they replied that since company is in this status they will decide 140 status after one year. My current H1b extension ends on this Sep 2012. I had meeting with Murthy attorney. She said I can still file 8th year extension and transfer H1b to another company with my 2nd approved labor since 140 is in pending status and labor is 365 days older but the companies I inquired are saying it is not possible. Could someone please tell me if it is possible? Thanks in advance.
