My visa interview on Apr 23rd@ 8 AM Monday@Ottawa was successful.

Type of Stamping: First time Stamping

My Status Changes till date: ( F1 - OPT - H1 - H1 Transfer - H1 Extension )

Questions asked:

VO: What does your actually employer do?

SK: Explained.

VO: Do you work at offsite location?

SK: Yes

VO: Where?

SK: Client name

VO: Is this is the Client looking at the client letter?

SK: Yes

VO: I'm approving your visa, here is sample tracking doc to track your passport delivery.

SK: Thankyou Sir

Before the interview , in a separate window they took passport, DS 160 Confirmation page, I797, employer letter, client letter and gave a token.No other documents were asked during the interview, VO kept all the documents(I797) with him and there came golden words ''visa is approved''.

Passport along with 797 was delivered to DHL office@Tuesday 5 PM..Booked flight for wednesday morning and back in US.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I am also going for first time stamping( F1-OPT-H1B). working with direct employer.

Still, I am hesitating to go for stamping.
