Coming to USA with MTR receipt!!

My wife's 485 is denied because of 245(k) reason, she was in India when we got the denial notice. Denial notice didn't mention anything about canceling her EAD/AP but from what I read online in other posts that EAD/AP will automatically get canceled due to 485 denial. Our attorney filed 290-B (Motion to appeal, MTR) and I got the MTR receipt yesterday.

My question is will she be able to come to USA with just the MTR receipt? My attorney emailed me saying that "She should try to come in now", I'm not enough confidence in my attorney's email. She will be traveling with our 3 yr old daughter (US Citizen) and I don't want to take any chances..

What should I do? Please advise.

She can not come with just the MTR receipt.

An MTR receipt just means that a motion to reopen was filed. Until the motion is approved, the case is closed.
