The number in I797 form

In my approved I797 form that I got there is a number in the Beneficiary column along with my name.

Anybody has any idea what it is about? The secretary at my company's law offices apparently does not.

I am not sure what that number is, but even my petition had a number in Beneficiary column and theres nothing wrong in that.

On the other note, my guess is that is the Alien #. May be, not sure though.

Thanks for your response. I am sure there is nothing wrong in it and it does not have me worried.

I just was wondering if somebody knows what that number stands for.
