PERM -moving from parent company to a subsidary

My company started my Green card application in Jan 2012. They have already obtained PWD, completed the recruitment process and would be filing my labor (PERM application) in first week of May 2012 (after waiting for 30 day cool off period).

My company management is thinking of spinning off a new company, and they might decide to move some of the employees (including me) to this new subsidiary in the next 3 to 6 months or so. This new subsidiary will be located at the same location as parent company and would be a part of the parent holding. My role, position and responsibilities in this new subsidiary will be same as that in parent holding company.

Does this mean that my company needs to re-start the whole PERM process again after 3 to 6 months, or can they continue to use the labor they intent to file in May 2012?

Any input in this regard will be highly appreciated.
