merryboy55
Hi, I have applied for family based green card as my spouse is a permanent resident of USA.(F2A) My I-130 was approved on 17th Septmeber 2010. I have been following the USA visa bulletin to find the current date, at the moment the current date is October 2009. Last week, I received an email from NVC asking to make a payment for Affidavit of support ( AOS) and the immigration visa fee.The email had invoices for payment with bar code. My query is should I make the payment now or wait for my date to become current. Which way it will be quicker. Many thanks in advance for your help. Regards B Link to comment
JoeF
Please note that the abbreviation AOS is used for something different, namely the I-485 Adjustment of Status. NVC usually sends out letters when the PD is expected to become current soon. When was the I-130 filed? That's the PD, not the approval date. Link to comment
