Spouse H4 Status validity after working on EAD if I change employer 4 months after filing I-485

Hi All,

I would appreciate any pointers and responses to my question below.

Status: EB2, I and my spouse filed I-485 (in Jan 2012) with request for AP and EAD card. Will be getting EAD cards in 1-2 weeks.

Situation:

My wife starts working on her EAD as soon as she receives her card. Hence she will loose her H4 status.

Question:

What will happen to the status of my wife if I decide to change my employer in May (4 months after filing my I-485). Will she get back to her H4 status or can she continue to work on her EAD card. My new employer has to start my GC process all over again with previous employer's PD.

Is it sure that she can continue working on her EAD while my GC process gets started all over again for new employer?

If your employer revokes your I140 your I1485 gets invalid/abandoned which means her EAD will nolonger be valid.
