Lost I797 for OPT but have OPT card

Hi,

I am currently on my STEM OPT extension and my employer is applying my H1B this time. My problem is that, I have lost my I797 approval notice of my OPT extension but I do have my OPT estension card. Will it be a problem while applying H1B or may be let me put this way, Is it mandatory to have I797 when you have your OPT extension card?

Please help.
