PERM not applied... reaching end of 5th year.

How long does it take to get Prevailing Wage these days? Mine was applied on 1/18/2012.CA area Still waiting. Attorney says it is better to wait since it going to an EB2 application. I am reaching end of 5th year on H1 on Jun 15h. What options do i have if i am not able to apply before that. Will India vacation upto 3 weeks help to push that end of 5th year date if its getting too close? or Will I-I40 premium help if PERM is applied/approved by end of the year. Appreciate any inputs.
