H1 Stamping - Canada

Hi Everyone,

I am planning to go to visa stamping in Canada, next month. I am struggling between two options whether to take my family with me or not. I though this is more useful site to get experiences frm the ones who had or come across similar situation.

here are my questions:

1. If I take my family, do I need to book the visa appointment at the same time?

2. If not can I cancel H4 visa stamping, if something goes wrong with my visa stamping? Also can they return back to US based on their h4 validity?

Please share your valuable experiences.
