Visiting USA while H1B is Pending

Hi Gurus

I have a concern . Here is my case. I came to India on March 7th 2011 for stamping. I went to chennai for my stamping and was issued 221(g). Then approached on October 13th 2011 with new employer and new client at Hyderabad consulate.

My visa was sent back to USCIS and it get reaffirmed on Jan31 2012 and my employer received I7979©. The PIMS did not get updated yet.

Right now I am in UAE having a valid resident UAE Visa and working for a company since 3 months and this company would like to send me to USA for a business visit. My questions are

1. Can I go to US embassy in UAE

2. And what documents should I carry

3. what would be my chances to get B1/B2.

2. And what documents should I carry >> Proof that you will return- job letter, lease/rent papers, etc.

3. what would be my chances to get B1/B2. >> it all depends upon what the VO asks you, if they dig deep into your history - chances are less.
