JoeF Posted April 23, 2012 Report Share Posted April 23, 2012 You have to have the good faith intent to work for the employer. If you quit too soon, the employer can complain to USCIS and they can investigate you for fraud. It is recommended to stay with the employer for 6-12 months after getting the GC. The time before getting the GC doesn't matter, since the GC is always for a job in the future, starting when the GC gets approved. Link to comment
