Successful stamping at Vancouver

I've been following murthy forums from 3 months. Thanks to all the members who posted their Visa experiences here. They are very very helpful. I had my interview on Tuesday of this week.

we are a group of 4 met through Murthy forums. I am posting on behalf of all of us.

I had appointment at 10 AM, but we were allowed inside at 8AM itself.

My interview went for 5 minutes.

I am on EVVC model.

I had all the necessary documentation.

After greeting each other(Visa officer,I)..

Visa Officer: Who is ur employer?

Me: xyz

VO:Where is ur employer's location?

me: xyz

VO: Do you work there?

me: I answered

VO: where do you work?

me: mentioned my client location.

VO: How long have you been with the client?

me: xx months

VO: Is it the same time that you were with your employer?

me: Answered.

VO: Do you have your end client letter?

me: handed him the letter

VO: Who do you report to?

me: My manager( employer)

and told him the details..

VO: How often do you report to him?

me: answered

VO: How many employees with your employer?

me: answered.

VO: Why did you come all the way to vancouver .You can go to Ottawa or toronto..which is very near to you?

me: (I am from East coast)..I told him that I wanted to visit Vancouver and LA, Vegas and told him that I planned a trip in west coast..

VO: Did you go to school in US?

me: Yes .

VO:where did you go?

me:xyz

VO:which major and what degree?

me: Answered.

Then he said that my visa is approved and I will receive my passport in 3 business days.

the other three are EVC,Full time.

Pretty much the same questions..and for one of the other three, the Visa Officer asked all Docs(LCA, I 129, W2 evrything) and keenely went through all the pages of the docs.

All of our visas got approved.

Recieved out passports yesterday.

Some times you wont get email notifications for picking up the passport. However, you can always check through your Visa appointment Confirmation page online. They update the pickup number there.
