I came on student visa in 2006. then i got my first h1b in 2009. and i transfer my h1b to anouther company in 2010. I never went for h1b stamping. i am planning to go for first time stamping in 2012. so selecting appointments for visa interview do i have to select

are you

first option - resident of india

second option - indian citizen resident in us.

i talk with vfs they are saying i have to select resident of india because this is my first time stamping.

if i am going for second time stamping then i select second option.

any body has same answer from vfs and what they have done?
