L1 TO H1 transfer rejected ..need urgent help

Hi ,

Currently I am on L1. I had an approved petition for H1B which got expired in September 2011.However I never used that petition or got it stamped. I got one employer who filed for my L1 to H1 transfer which got rejected.

In this case

1. Is my original petition rejected or is it just that the transfer from L1 to H1 rejected

2.If the petition is not rejected ,in case I get another job, do i need to tell that a previous transfer is rejected.

Please help me with this

Just the transfer got rejected and no you dont have to tell anything about that to the new employer.
