H1B visa for my wife(I am on H1B)

I am on H1B visa and I am trying to get a H1B visa for my wife. What are the ways available? I know these days things are very tough for fresh H1 visas without job offers. So I am talking about the case in which my wife will get a job and then an employer will file H1B visa based on the purchase order of the job. But my question is more in terms of keeping in mind the H1B subscription limit available and the timeline before october and stuff. Any information would be helpfull.

She would have to find an employer, preferrably not with a consultant.

Its a open ended question. If she finds a job and files the H1b in a timely manner, she would get h1b.

Step 1 : Find a job.

Step 2: Employer applies for H1b.

Step 3: You start working from start date on the H1b application when it is approved.
