Need to re-immigrate to US from Canada. Doubts

Hi all

In a bit of a quandary. Have the canadian GC and moved to Vancouver last january. Not much stuff, just enough to fit in a car. I didnt take any furniture with me.

The american GC came through last august and now I have been admitted into a good school in US for a masters program and want to move back.

Ive crossed the border back and forth quite a few times mentioning that I live in US (All my financial assets are still in US, have an address there that my mail goes to etc)

Any tips on how I can move back to US with a BC registered car full of stuff? What can I say to the officers about what I was doing in Canada.

Note that you can not keep both GCs. At least the US side doesn't like that.
