Legal Status after EB3 485 Filling

I have 485 filled during the 2007 period when EB3 went current, but went retorgate before could get my GC.

EB3 filled as a systems analyst

Question:

1. When I transfer AC21 to new company do I have to join on the same position/salary
   In case I get higher salary/position offer can I accept the position and port to EB2
   

1. Since we have done our 485 filling, can I stay at home without a job (or start a business) till I get my GC.

Yes you will have to lookout for same position but salary can be high but now low than what was mentioned in PERM.

So to reconfirm; on 485 I can quit my job and stay home till I get our GC.

When EB3 goes current, will my status without job cause any problem for us getting the GC.
