what will happen to EB3 India?

Guys, I am really fed up with this process. my PD is 2005 Nov under EB3 not sure when it will be become current to add my wife to my GC application. I not worried about when it gets approved but wud like to add my wife so that she get some job. Does anyone has any idea about what wud happen and how long i have to wait?

Is it ok if I try filing GC(EB2) and then port my EB3 at this moment, I wud have done that some time ago i really didnt want to quit my current job for doing so but now i have decided to take this risk so that at least both of us can start working, Please advise.
