I am presently working as a quality engineer and making about 75K /year. My ediucation is Industrial Engineer and My H1b is filed under the title of an Industrial Engineer, OES/SOC Code:17-2112 Area Code: 42644 Area Title: Seattle-Bellevue-Everett, WA Metropolitan Division OES/SOC Code: 17-2112 OES/SOC Title: Industrial Engineers GeoLevel: 1 Level 1 Wage: $29.68 hour - $61,734 year Level 2 Wage: $34.79 hour - $72,363 year Level 3 Wage: $39.89 hour - $82,971 year Level 4 Wage: $45.00 hour - $93,600 year Mean Wage (H-2B):$39.89 hour - $82,971 year This wage applies to the following O*Net occupations: 17-2112.00 Industrial Engineers Design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination. O*Net™ Job Zone: 4 The question is for my company to apply my Green Card/Labor Certification does my salary need to be more than the Mean wage of $82,971 year? Please help answer this question. Posted April 18, 2012 Report Share Posted April 18, 2012 To get a 7th year H1B extension the clause are- either you have I-I140 approved or over 365 days have passed since you filed your labor clearance. So worst case scenerio..even if your I-140 doesnt get approved you would still fall in the second category ( you would have crossed 365 days of labor clearnace filing) Link to comment
