upraveen
Hi My employer filed my PERM in EB2 category with following minimum requirements. Masters+3 years experience Bachelors+5 years experience However while preparing I-140, my employer realized that 4 months of my experience is paid full time internship during my bachelors. If I do not use that internship experience I'm falling short by 3 months. Does anybody know if we can use paid internship experience towards 5 years progressive experience ? Thanks Link to comment

hary536
Only experience after finishing the degree counts. What about the experience gained during internship while pursuing MS. I have similar situation, where I have 1 year of internship experience and 1 year of OPT experience. Link to comment
JoeF
Only experience after getting the required degree counts. And for EB2, the requirement would have to be MS or BS+5, so, MS+3 or BS+5 would mean MS=BS+2, which won't work for EB2. Link to comment
JoeF
And for EB2, the requirement would have to be MS or BS+5 I should have said "the minimum requirement." If the requirement is MS+3, then the equivalent without an MS would be BS+8. Link to comment
