I-140 and I-485 Time gap

Hi Team,

I am planning to submit my I-140 in EB-1 category and then file my I-485 after 6 months as my dependants are planning to travel to India for 4-5 months. Will there be any issue if there is a gap of aound 6 months between I-140 and I-485?

After reading few post on this forum, I realised that its better to file I-485 when my dependants are in US, hence thought of the above option.

Please let me know.
