EAD Card with wrong DOB for Post-Complettion OPT

Hi, Today I recieved my EAD for my Post-Completion OPT and much to my surprise I found that the DOB is incorrect.

I called USCIS and they said that it will take 15 business days to respond back to my query. I really can't wait that long as I have not applied for SSN at this point and my OPT is about to start in the next 4 weeks obviously I am looking for the job at the same time.

Could anyone suggest as to what would be the next steps to get this fixed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear that. I got my EAD (I-485 Pending) on Dec 07, 2011 with Typographical errors and contacted USCIS on Dec 12, 2011. Got an email only on Jan 12, 2012 with detail on how to proceed from there. So it might be a while before you get that email. So in your case try calling again and explaing that your job starts in 4 week. May be they can do something Hopefully...
