ebhavins1984
Hello Sir, I was working for company A fullyime. I got an offer from company B headquartered in VA and client location in MD. They did my transfer in normal processing after I signed the offer letter. Immediately I got offer from Company C in CA. They transferred my visa in premium and since the project was good I joined this company on full-time. My question is am I liable to pay damages for company B in terms of visa transfer fee, attorney fees and other collateral damages since they are planning to sue me in this regards because of me signing this offer mentioning this conditions? goomail
Well, if you signed any documents so, it can be a problem. You do not need to pay the visa fee and employer do not have any rights to ask for that. As per the H1 regulations, employer should bear that. I think you should consult a lawyer. Link to comment
