yashwantbhatia
Hi, I'm on my 6th year H1B and never been to H1B stamping. I converted from F1 to H1 as soon I graduated and never went to H1 stamping because of the stamping issues. I'm planning to go to H1 stamping next month to Vancouver. Is it ok to go to Canada for F1-H1 stamping (even if I'm on my 5th H1B period) ? Link to comment
CodeVISA
It All depends on how you are working on H1B. i.e, on FT? or EC? or EVC? Now-A-Days, no matter where you go, If you are FT, you will get VISA for sure. The chances of getting VISA EC model is also little better. If you are in EVC, the chances of getting 221G is more. BTWN, I am not discouraging you. Explaining current situation. Link to comment
osmancis
I agree with Code visa and that would be my answer too. Adding - If you are on EC, EVC model please confirm work from home with client (just in case). Link to comment
srav4visa
Hi yashwant, Even if you are FT or EVC or EC does not matter, if you all are having all the documents it should not be a problem, some guys who are on FT also are having 221g and not yet resolved, be positive..you can get it.
