H1B cap gap and visit to India

Hello,

My OPT is expiring in June 2012.

I am planning to move to H1B this year. If my H1B approved, Can i visit to India between July and September (cap gap time) after approval OR not?

If yes, can i go for H1B stamping also during my visit in India?

Please assist.

You can not come back during the cap-gap time.

You would have to get an H1 visa and then come back when the H1 starts.
