Regular H1B Application (Apr 2012)

Hi All,

My application for H1B was filled on the 2nd Apr under Master's quota.

Are there any other guys on the same boat?

When can I expect to receive my receipt notice?

Also I will be using CAP-GAP this year, so if there is anyone who is in the same situation plese respond.

I know that was in your situation but in 2009. I received my approval notice on April 14th after they confirmed receipt of my pettion on April 6th.

Masters Quota, Premium Processing, CSC and used CAP-GAP

Thanks, I am waiting for my receipt letter so I can get CAP-GAP I-20, since I also need it to extend my license in CA

My company applied for my H-1B on April 2nd as well in Masters quota, with premium processing. Still haven't received the receipt.

I will be using CAP-GAP later this year as well...

@ Sharingaan - Good to know that. I am not doing Premium processing, I was told that should not matter for CAP-GAP. I will get CAP-GAP I-20 with just the receipt notice, correct me if I am wrong.

@san4u28...yep, as long as you have a H1-B receipt, you should be able to apply for CAP-GAP I-20.

applied at VSC master's regular on April 03. Not receipt yet!

I got my receipt yesterday (16th)..my application has been applied to CSC...

Applied to VS..Masters...Premium... Packet reached them on 2nd April...I haven't get the receipt yet...:(
