Renewing H1b vs using EAD

Hi,

My employer extended my h1b second time beyond the first 6 years and I am still in AOS pending status. I also have the EAD ./ I140 approved in 2007.

My current h1b is expiring in November this year. I have been with the same employer and probably continue until I get my GC.

should I extend my H1b or just use EAD?

and also is there a way to convert EB3 to EB2?

If you want to continue to work on H1B with your employer, apply for extension using EAD. I hope you will get 1 yr extension.

And you have the option to use EAD if anything happens to H1B.

I would say better to continue on H1B until get the GC.
