I checked with my manager he said he can mail me but can not give letter on letter head..What are my options? Please suggest..RFE at perm is the last thing that I want!!! Link to comment
RashmiB
You definitely do not require experience letters for PERM filing. You need them while filing the I-140. So go ahead filing the PERM and mean time arrange the experience letters required from respective authorities. Thats how it was in my case. Link to comment
schintala
You can get affidavits from your colleagues who worked with you to prove your experience. Link to comment
Attorney_22
Generally, when detailed experience letters from former employers are not available USCIS will accept alternative documentation such as colleague affidavits, self affidavits and evidence of employment. If you have additional questions related to your specific circumstance it is advisable to speak with a qualified U.S. immigration attorney directly. Link to comment
GCin2013
Hi Thanks All, I appreciate all the insight you have given me. One last thing when you say affidavit, does it mean it has to be on stamp paper or can it be on plain paper but notorized from a Notary? Thanks Again! Link to comment
